About

I write (mostly) anti-abortion, pro-woman essays in 400 words or less. Question abortion! Let’s find better options for women.

  1. Bless you for sharing your story. It is so healing for others to see how you have embraced all of life.

  2. Miss hearing from you.. I had no idea about your background.. please send me an email or anything. Would love to finally sit and have coffee.. or tea… 🙂

    Blessings dear friend.

  3. I have nominated you for a blog award. You may check it out on my blog post if you like. ~ Wendy

  4. Thanks so much for your witness. Like you, my abortions were years ago…in 1998 and 1999. Now healing through the Church. I want to help the cause. I am just so embarrassed and ashamed to talk openly. Very afraid of my friends hating me. On another note, The Trump comments set me back quite a bit. It has been a bad week. Anyone else?

Bravo for your very important witness

    • Thank you Carole, and thanks for sharing your story. I wish you to find healing and peace.
I’m actually writing a post about Trump’s comments right now. Will publish soon.

    Beatrice,

While I know your blog is written for women, there are men out here who have lived our own struggles, and are finding our own way. My own journey into healing is not nearly as far along as yours has been, but it has been life changing. While there is little written specifically for men, I have learned to improvise and take inspiration where ever I find it, and your story and your work with Silent no More really are inspiring. Thank you for sharing them in such an honest and vulnerable way..

    • Thank you Doug, I’m reading your blog and I will share it on social media.

Thank you for your courage, we need the men’s perspective too. I can’t find the articles now, but I know that Kevin Burke, who works with Priests for Life, Silent No More and Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat has written articles about a father’s grief after abortion, and this book: http://www.rachelsvineyard.org/men/resources/Redeeming-a-Father-Heart.htm

I attended a workshop where he did a presentation a couple of years ago.

Take care, you are in my prayers.

Just curious: what is the “400 words” a reference to? I can’t find an explanation of the meaning of that anywhere.

  7. Hello Julia, it means a 400 words essay, which is what I was aiming to when I started the blog in 2012 but it’s hard in some cases to limit the essay to just 400 words.
